Missouri NAACP Urges NO Vote on Amendment 3

The Missouri NAACP has urged voters reject the Amendment 3 proposal on the November 8 ballot, citing racist restrictions on marijuana licensing and concerns over the viability of marijuana offense expungement protocols. The Missouri NAACP joins a long list of Black organizations and individuals opposed to Constitutional marijuana criminal and civil penalties & inequitable approaches to expungement and licensing, including State Representatives LaKeysha Bosley (STL), Ashley Bland-Manlove (KC), and Wiley Price (STL), Missouri Minorities for Medical Marijuana president Brennan England, the Editorial board of the St. Louis American, Kansas City community activist Derron Black, and St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones.
